DA:I COMPANION SHEET 2.0
HAVEN.
LOCATION. Outside the gate, opposite the training area near the path to the cabin. CONVERSATION. Can be asked questions about the Crows, his interests/skills, the Dalish/his family, & Antiva. He will avoid questions about his family & skills, which can be answered later under appropriate circumstances. He will describe his willingness to ensure the success of the Inquisition, going so far as to say he’d always wanted to help others. ROMANCE OPTIONS. When romance options are selected he will have an uncomfortable & confused reaction. He will return compliments & accept them modestly; he will later comment on the Inquisitor’s persistence. He will ask why they are so interested in him, & non-aggressive dialogue will cause approval.
SKYHOLD.
LOCATION. Initially in the throne room, moves to the walkway above the garden, near what would be the Mage’s tower & where Hawke appears. CONVERSATION. Can be asked personal questions that will be answered with appropriate dialogue responses; kindness will result in honest answers, humor will result in hesitant answers, & aggression will result in refusing to answer. Will speak more about his interests, what he plans to do after the Inquisition, his desire to find his sister. Under appropriate circumstances he will admit that he is glad to serve under the Inquisitor, & that he would protect them with his life. He will show great dedication to the Inquisition. ROMANCE OPTIONS. Romance can be initiated upon arrival at Skyhold. After a romance option has been selected he will ask them their intent, & thus an appropriate answer will start the romance. Romance options afterwards will be responded to with more quiet modesty, & sincere compliments; he will admire the Inquisitor for their strengths & his willingness to follow them. By saying he is worth more to the Inquisitor than just a skilled person will result in approval.
RECRUITMENT.
RECRUITMENT MISSION. Found in Orlais after attempting to speak to the Chantry; located in the courtyard past the cafe. Will be interrogating a Templar, who he will kill upon discovery. Will try to escape but will be caught by Varric. Can be found in the Haven dungeon afterwards, where he offers to help in exchange for his freedom. PERSONAL QUEST. Personal quest is ‘A Guiding Light’; speaking with him he will tell the Inquisitor that he has located his mentor from the Antivan Crows, & that he plans on tracking him down to finally be ‘free’ of his influence & the Crows. Will travel to a location in Orlais via the map, where he will face his mentor. Allowing him to kill his mentor will result in disapproval & a change to more aggressive behavior. Keeping him from killing his mentor will result in approval & will open dialogue options about his sister. MAP QUEST. His map quest is in the Free Marches, called ‘Shoot the Messenger’. Any of the advisers can be sent on it, each receiving different rewards. The quest talks about Crow informants that could be convinced to help the Inquisition.

Can be found in the garden by the fountain. Will comment that the last time he was at the Winter Palace he’d been more certain of the situation, will not say anything further if questioned. Will comment about the servants & anaylze guests & the guards. The most approval is gained from Celene & Briala ruling together.

ROMANCE.
DA:I ROMANCE. While romanced he will be more easygoing & willing to converse with the Inquisitor about personal things & the Crows. If his quest is not completed, or he killed his mentor during the quest, he will break off the romance. While romanced he will be far more trusting & slightly affectionate, constantly admiring the Inquisitor. He will ask the Inquisitor what they think of him as a Crow, why they want to be with him, & reassuring him will result in a reciprocation of the offered affection. His romance cutscene takes place in the Inquisitor’s quarters, where he & the Inquisitor will share a kiss & he will say that he trusts them completely & that he will stay by their side as long as they will have him. TRESPASSER ROMANCE. The romance will continue, & he will reference letters sent between them during their time apart. He can be asked about his sister, to which he will respond positively. He will describe how much he missed them & worried about them, & says that once the council is over he wants to take them away for some peace for awhile. His reaction to the Inquisitor’s pain will be responded to with worry & uncertainty about himself; he will reassure & hold the Inquisitor, saying he will never let them go. ROMANCE ENDED. If his quest is not completed or he kills his mentor during the quest he will break off the romance. If the Inquisitor breaks off the romance he will wish them the best & say that he enjoyed their time together. He will continue to offer the Inquisitor quiet respect.
ENDING.
QUEST COMPLETED. He will find & get into contact with his sister. He will leave Orlais to be with her in Nevarra, where he will start work as an apothecary. QUEST NOT COMPLETED. He will become bitter & cold, vowing to destroy the House of Crows for their injustices committed. Becomes an infamous spymaster known for being cutthroat & unforgiving. He finds his sister but they quickly part ways again. ROMANCED. He will be in contact with his sister, & he will travel to be with her for awhile. Then he will return to the Inquisitor to protect & be with them. DISBANDED, ROMANCED. He will stay with the Inquisitor to protect them & hunt down Fen’Harel, offering his skills to the effort. He will keep the Inquisitor levelheaded & insist that they take time for themself, always ensuring they are physically & mentally secure. ABSORBED, ROMANCED. He will remain with the Inquisitor & ask them to marry him. He will ask that they take time to be with him & be at peace, but he will support their desire to locate Fen’Harel. He will again say he is faithful to the Chantry, & ensure the Inquisitor doesn’t overwork themself.
