Desert living update:
We've worked out a deal with the guy who owns the property I'm camping on that pup and I can stay for as long as we want as long as I either throw down 50 a month or do labor around the property. We've got a group of us camping out here because there's no place else for us to call home base between being on the road. He made the same deal with all of us.
There's this guy Nate who stays out here with us. I can't count how many times he's fought someone for harassing us or worked shows to make sure we aren't short-handed for no compensation. About 2 weeks ago, his mom got all tweaked out and stole his car, which she then dropped off to his ex. Said ex got caught with drugs and got his car impounded. He got hit by a truck because he was taking a walk to blow off steam after everything that had happened. They didn't see him and bowled him over doing like 50. So, after 6 stitches in his head, a broken tibia, and a major case of road rash, he's not in any shape to do anything about it.
I'm helping him and his girlfriend Arrow out between trash cleanups and running errands, but there's only so much any of us can do. Especially since I found out all the cash I gave my ex roommate to put on his card for my insurance miraculously never got to my insurance company and I've got a busted tail light.
Goddamn... It's hard to be free, sometimes.
