Yes, Hibiki was reincarnated/isekai'd into an Azelf
This is the one that's sticking </3
So Hibiki wakes up with no memory of their past and the pokemon that finds them (A Furret named Tal) is immediately freaked out because while they look very different from the actual Azelf, they still are very clearly related at the least.
They don't have the same deity powers as Azelf does (essentially a deity of willpower) and their abilities are Unaware (ignores enemy stat changes) and Overgrow (gets a boost to grass moves when health is low).
I'm thinking instead of the normal human isekai'd into a pokemon route that instead (because Explorers of Sky, the game I'm playing for this, has time shenanigans) they're from a distant future where someone did a similar experiment with the Lake Guardians (Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit) that they did with Mewtwo. Taking the DNA from the guardians and creating enhanced clones, though to be sure they could control them they took prisoners (Hibiki and two others) and used pokemon and science to remove their souls and place them into the clones.
There was an attack and the clones were sent into a different time (so I might make the others too tbh) and now have to struggle with their new identities and being in a new world.
Their personal story is going to be about relearning to trust and, once they start to get their memories back, that a hatred fueled revenge only set on death is like poison to the person.
I made a new Azelf OC! I was planning his backstory of almost a month now and I made his design. I don’t know what to name him, so help me name him. I also making 3 more characters but I’m doing their designs first. He’s also my first Azelf pokesona so far.
