I'm performing at the All-Arizona Poetry Slam tonight. It's the state championship. I've been keeping a low profile on social because I've been practicing for the slam. A lot is on the line, including a cash prize and an invite to perform at the Maricopa Music & Beer Festival in the spring. Most importantly, if I win I can call myself the state champion. Tonight I'm looking to represent Instagram poets and show that we have talent besides what we put in the square box.
