The prayer space will take up less than 1.5% of the total space of the London Trocadero, a unique building that comprises shops, restaurants, nightclubs and the recently opened 740 bed Zedwell Hotel, and soon to open London’s largest rooftop bar with the capacity for 1,200 people.
The Aziz Foundation – Masters Scholarships Programme
Created by Asif Aziz in 2015, the Aziz Foundation is a family charitable foundation with the guiding philosophy and key principle of operating to support British Muslims to bring positive change to their communities and beyond.
Their fundamental objective is to create a fair and thriving society by empowering all individuals and communities to fulfil their true potential. This is pursued through their Masters Scholarships Programme.
This programme has been created to enable British Muslims who will advocate for disadvantaged communities amplifying their positive contributions and actions. Through the programme, it is hoped that confidence will be nurtured and that articulate public leaders of Muslim background who are able to engage with public narratives and address the social challenges facing British Muslim communities and wider society.
Additionally,the programme aims to increase access for British Muslims to higher education at the postgraduate level, enabling greater participation and involvement in civil society.
