2. Who is the big spoon/ Who is the little spoon?
This is such a precious question. Okay I’m kind of cheating because it’s hard to spoon with kings and I can’t really see them…stacking? So Mor goes in t he middle and then the boys just sort of….curl around her and overlap their wings. Mor stays nice and warm and toasty in the middle and gets her full quota of cuddles but the boys can still cuddle each other too. Basically Mor just ends up at the centre of a giant bat burrito. It’s precious. (and yes there are definitely times Feyre or Rhys will wander in to talk to Cass or Az and Mor will just wriggle a bit and then her head will pop up from underneath their wings to give Rhys a heart attack because he didn’t think she was there)
3. Who hogs the cover/ Who loves to cuddle?
Mor, as established in moriel headcanons, is a little cover thief. An utterly unapologetic cover thief. Cass whinges about it more than Az does he gets all :( Mooooor I’m coooold and she makes the fire bigger as she nuzzles down under the covers because no they’re mine you’re not getting them back you have two huge blankets on your back, make do with them. They bicker until Azriel huffs and pulls them in close and wraps his wings around both of them because shh, now you’re both happy.
Okay Mor and Az can be partial to cuddles and both will readily accept them but Cass is the cuddle monster in this relationship. He isn’t happy unless one of them is in his arms at all times. Mor in particular likes using him as a cushion which he doesn’t protest to one little bit. And when Mor is curled on his lap he has to beckon Az over too and Az protests because wings and he’s much heavier than Mor and- And he gets told to shut up and come here because Cass wants to cuddle him properly. One does not fight Cassian when he wants to cuddle them.
4. Who wakes the other one up with kisses?
Cassian will wake the other two up with kisses whenever he gets the chance. But sometimes he only gets to do this with Mor because Az has gotten up and managed to sneak off without the other two noticing (Mor and Cassian are always very miffed whenever he does this - but Cass in particular because you’re depriving me of my morning kisses!? Azriel??? How could you do this to me???) Mor sometimes is Not In The Mood (ie it’s too earrllyy Cassian, the sun isn’t awake yet, I shouldn’t be either) and she keeps hiding under the covers she stole in the night to hide from him. But Cassian is determined and stubborn and if kissing fails he can and will tickle her mercilessly through the blankets until she emerges, squealing and then he triumphantly kisses her again.
(Azriel is the one who wakes the other two with kisses between their thighs. Ahem)
8. Who sleeps in their underwear (or naked)/ Who sleeps in their pyjamas?
Cassian and Mor can both pitch from ‘fully clothed’ to ‘utterly naked’ depending on the night, how they’re feeling, and how much sex they’ve recently had. Azriel is the most consistent of the three of them and tends to sleep shirtless (unless it’s particularly cold in which case he’ll put on a baggy t-shirt (Mor and Cassian are most displeased by this)) and loose trousers.
50. Who is the hopeless romantic?
Azriel is like the stealth romantic and Cassian is the every day romantic and Mor is just…drowning in it all. (sometimes she puts her foot down and just no, no romance, we’re just having a quiet cuddle, no dramatic roses or quiet bunches of flowers appearing from nowhere. Just chill cuddles, I’m going to look after you two now)
Azriel is the one that leaves little presents out when they most need them and the one that will descend into the Court of Nightmares just to appear for a few moments to make Mor feel a little lighter when his shadows whisper that she needs him. Or he’ll fly until his wings ache to reach the camps to see Cassian and kiss him and hold him and tell him that they miss him before he sets off again because he has duties to attend to in Velaris.
Cassian is the one that plans elaborate dates and secret picnics into the mountains. He just marches into Mor’s chambers one morning, picks her up where she’s sitting at her desk writing and flies off with her because they are all going on a picnic together right now and he’s not taking no for an answer. He has everything all made up and prepared, they just have to tackle Az together to get him to come with them. (They do indeed and both ignore his feeble protests of ‘but work’ because no, no work, picnic)
