The first day on Azula’s ship is . . . odd. It feels a little unreal and distant traveling like this, leaving her whole life behind, and Yue isn’t sure what to think of the experience. She keeps feeling like she’ll wake up or snap out of it and things will be normal again. 

Or . . . different, anyway. 

She thinks of Azula’s rooms and the one and only bed in them, and tries to–she doesn’t know what Azula expects tonight. They’re both girls, and Yue can’t bear Azula the son and heir that Hahn would’ve expected from her, but Azula’s been acting like a husband would. Or at least . . . something like a husband would. She proposed, and fought the boys, and went on the hunt. 

She got her a necklace. 

Yue’s still wearing it. Which–of course she is. It’s normal enough. Not necessary, now that they’re married, but normal enough. And more normal for royalty, on top of that. Especially in a situation where she’s being taken to be presented to Azula’s family as her wife. 

Yue doesn’t have any idea what to expect from Azula’s family. She didn’t even know Azula existed before she showed up, so who knows who else might be in it? Zuko, obviously, and very obviously the Fire Lord and his lady, but otherwise . . . Azula doesn’t have another brother, she’d said, but are there sisters? Cousins? Aunts and uncles? 

There’s at least the Dragon of the West, she knows. Obviously she knows about him. But she doesn’t know if Azula’s mother has any siblings or anything like that, or if there are grandparents on her side, or . . . 

There’s so much she should know that she just . . . doesn’t. 

She could ask Ty Lee, she supposes. Ty Lee would probably tell her, and then she wouldn’t have to bother Azula about it. Or at least she could ask Mai, who might not mind a few questions. Mai is going to be the Fire Lady someday; she must know Azula’s family tree as well as her own. 

Well, they’re about to be the same family tree, so . . . yes, of course she must.

So Yue should too.

I’ve always wanted to ask this but you know how Yue is mixed with water tribe and fire nation but look just like fire nation straight up ? Yea well can you describe her hair and clothes bc it’s kind of giving me like Azula vibes but a nicer version if you know what I mean 😭 also does she wear red lipstick? I know her make up be popping lol

But yes, excuse my fangirl moment. We know Yue has really long hair, and while her hair is overall quite straight, it does have some gentle waves, like beach waves!

It's very subtle, not full blown curls, with a good brushing you could easily straighten out her hair.

I like to think she has one particular strand at the back of her head that curls just a bit too much and Zuko always laughs under his breath because it's so random and he knows Yue has no idea about this one curl and he always twirls it around his finger.

And Yue does wear red lipstick like our other iconic Queen💄

She mainly wears it for fancy events or to doll up, but for an everyday look, she often wears a gloss because Yue has naturally blushy lips from nibbling on it all the time.

But why do I need to write Azula and Yue going shopping for red lipsticks 😭

“Mort, it’s time for your dinner” Mouse spoke calmly as he carried the tray of food. His yellow eyes gently glowing as he knew to be cautious as he knew that Mort was muzzled and straitjacketed. But he felt pity for the other... His eyes soft as he was known for being quite attractive as he looked gently.

“do you want to eat it alone or do you want me to help?” he asked gently to Mort as his eyes were quite pretty too, but he was stern like a hawk. He was told he couldn’t be so leanant with them, but he couldn’t help but feel somewhat pitiful. 

After all, they were only people. People who made either horrible or bad mistakes in their life. He was close to being in their shoes once, but he was pardoned. He left that life behind him a long time ago.
