Sometimes it's easy to scroll through Facebook. But other times it's not easy. It's not easy seeing pictures of people showing third level and getting their bronze medals. Moving up to fourth level. Getting to wear their shadbelly for the first time. Qualifying for championships. And knowing how close I was to my bronze medal. Me and Zuli were supposed to be getting my second level scores this weekend. And then in May get third level scores. Instead I picked her feet, brushed her, show sheen and fly spray, and we ate a lot of carrots and apples, then went on a walk down the road. I gave two lessons on India and rode her in the snaffle. She was excellent, lovely and soft. I also rode Rave and we worked on halting when I ask and learning the aid for canter. It's very hard starting over like this, I don't think it gets easier. You think you ride like shit and you will never accomplish your goals. But I think it's normal, I think everyone feels like this at some point. It will pass.
