What is your opinion about Meta Knight from the hit Kirby video game series?

He is the only character in the Kirby games whose name can be broken into two nouns. He is the king of heart, as shown by how his sword is the red heart in his crest (although he does not use this heart in combat and I don't know how the story relates to it). ("Meta" just means "at the top," which was what he did when his mother gave birth to him, as depicted in the cover art.) He's a tough fighter, capable of great feats of strength and speed -- but it turns out that he's actually very weak and doesn't have that much strength left after all, so I'd say he's actually more fragile than you'd expect from his abilities.

The fact that he is "meta" might have something to do with his relationship to his father, who is a large, imposing figure and perhaps the leader of a kingdom -- possibly the same kingdom Meta is from. And Meta is short and looks like a child in comparison -- in fact, I imagine he was created as a baby, before his mother even got the egg she was carrying.

Meta's main goal in life seems to be protecting his mother from the wrath of Meta Knight's "evil counterpart," who is a sort of shadowy figure that always comes out of nowhere and starts fighting Meta Knight, sometimes even stealing Meta's sword.
