The Azune/Bolaire conversation about personhood vs objectification really makes me consider how much time Bolaire has actually been conscious over the last 70 years. How often was he brought out during wars (we know of 2 he fought in and suspect another) and minor skirmishes? Is he mid-twenties, development wise, at this point?
And Azune, what a way to project. Man, that unexpected kinship between them? I am very interested.
The creation that wanted to be a person so much that he override the role he'd been assigned, and the person who has such a limited concept of who they are as a person outside of the role they've been assigned.
A sleeper pair I didn't really consider before this.
