“ there’s someone here who misses her too. ”
“ mipha ... ” A PAUSE , in which he knows there will be no answer yet there he stands before fallen champion. a nightly routine it seems. peace to be made with self and situation. ever growing and learning , sidon has taken to heart words spoken to him hundred years prior. training from young to protect as was his promise. a kind voice , gentle in tone as explanations , thoughts to future had been spoken. sidon has always admired his sister’s strength and her spot has champion. he likes to believe in the way she had held herself , sidon does so in a likeness.
there is not a day that goes by that he does not miss her. ( not to dwindle in the past , he knows but to instead strive forward and make the future a better place. ) “ vah ruta has stopped... does this mean you’re at rest , dear sister ? .... i miss you terribly. ”
lost to memories , the princess’ company comes to a surprise seeming to start at her presence. a moment then where sidon gathers himself ( embarrassment at being caught yet again speaking aloud to mipha’s statue ) a hundred years and her voice still rings clear. ‘ i believe in you. ’ how odd how something so small would stick with him all these years , to give strength , determination , when needed. his gaze does not waver ; beneath the moonlight the statue gleams. the princess’ words are , if intending to be or not , a comfort. “ pardon me -- ! i seem to have been lost in thought. ” now he turns his gaze to zelda , a smile upon his features. while his memories of when younger happen to be a bit fuzzy , he does remember her.
“ if you would indulge me , princess ? you spent time with my sister --- what would you say to be your favorite memory of her ? ”
