In my version of dancerstuck, Tavros has to be a break/hip hop dancer. None can convince me that Tav wouldn't be a B-boy. There's someone else out there that shares a version of this headcanon, but it's their head canon for the canon homestuck universe.
My Tav-baby still lacks a lot of confidence and doesn't like to practice in front of others and often stands in the back of the studio and doesn't audition or volunteer for main roles or anything that involves one-on-one attention during rehearsals. Though every once in a while an instructor will assign him a main role and he'll have no choice but to take it.
He frets about it ever second of every day until the curtains are draw. he'll be filled with worries of falling on stage, hurting a fellow performer, freezing up and any other thing that could cause the show to flop. But the moment that he steps onto the stage and the music starts and all he's worries and doubt fall away and it's just him and the beat.
