Whenever I see Mike, I always think of the time I saw his band, Brokaw, play a show at the Comet with Monogamy Party and while Monogamy Party was playing, Mike picked up their singer and carried him around the room. One of my favorite things about music and art is how it has brought me into contact with other people who are passionate these things. When I took this photo of Mike, we were talking about how moving good art can be. We also talked about how amazing dogs are. Mike is a good one and I’m glad he’s still making music for the love of it.
