Josuke peered over the man’s shoulder, smiling as if someone really was riding on the Neapolitan man’s saddle.  Being a sailor, he knew all about the superstitions of having Lady Luck being by your side.  He politely stepped out to the side, allowing them to pass on through.  

“My mistake.  I apologize for assuming you were riding alone.  I’m grateful for your assistance.”, he bowed.  “My name is Josuke.  Josuke Higashikata.”

Of course, anyone participating in the race knew that surname.

            while unable to move his body fully, he did manage to get             him into a position that should be better for him, considering             how heavily injured he was. he was moved, limb by limb so             he laid straight on the ground. the fact that there was no reaction             from the man when he did so, did not bode well. he sure didn’t             hope this man was paralyzed.

            the hankerchief he kept in his pocket was stained a deep red             with blood that came from the several lacerations across their             body. he’d move away, wring out what little he could from it             before dabbing at the wounds again.

   the sights, sounds, and smells of the neopolitan city were lively and intense on the senses. but for as much as johnny complained, it wasn’t too bad. a nice change of pace from the monotony he endured back home. you could only appreciate the beauty of fields for so long before getting bored. everywhere he looked there was something new to take in. 

   his current focus though, was on a pretty lady wearing some of the gaudiest jewelry he had ever seen. she was speaking angrily into a phone, her glitzy rings threatening to pop off her tiny fingers as she gestured wildly to absolutely no one. the scene was honestly entertaining to watch. god, if only he understood more italian… 

   his attention was only diverted away by what sounded like a question. he’d almost forgotten about the man walking only slightly ahead of him. gyro was the one who initially insisted on the trip to italy, enough times that johnny eventually had to give in. 

   now that they were here, he was trying to give the blonde a tour to the best of his ability. unfortunately johnny hadn’t been paying much attention at all, only responding with a hum or the occasional ‘ uh-huh, that’s cool ’. which was about to be the case here too.

   “ Mm, yeah that’s really nice Gyro. ” he mumbled predictably, now watching a few cats happily sunbathing in the street.

   whatever Johnny had expected to see? this sure wasn’t it. it was sooooo much better. Gyro was stuck in a game of tug of war with the horses, his dumb cape the victim of it all. they were really going at it too, the fabric starting to tear just the smallest bit. it took Johnny everything he had to stifle the laugh that was threatening to let loose.

   “ So… is this a new gag of yours? Cause uh, I gotta say… It’s pretty damn good. Even got the horses in on it. Very impressive. ”, his usual brand of deadpan sarcasm wasn’t going to work in this situation. anyone could hear the amusement in his voice seeping through.

i actually track your touhou track of the day tag and ~soon~ i will actually listen to all the songs on it. i don't play the games but i heard a million good things about the soundtracks and i'm really curious.

the games are. definitely........... not for everybody. honestly my biggest investment in the series is the music. ive never seen a fandom get so creative with music before, ever, it's just. stunning.

after i post like. all the tracks i like. i'll post remixes and stuff because some of that stuff just. ROCKS. omg i'll post one of my favourites right now it's just. JAW DROPPING
