It's time for a look into the alternate universe of what the MCU almost was. Doctor Mordrid was a desperately salvaged attempt at a Doctor Strange movie, but Marvel retracted the rights before they even finished pre-production. Instead, it's just a movie about a very strange doctor.

I think I’ve mentioned that my favorite giant monster movie made by a high school is The Milpitas Monster. The featured monster is a pile of trash that has come to life and seeks out more trash to eat. It’s portrayed variously by a person in a monster suit, a stop motion animation puppet and, when interacting with the regular actors, a big fake monster hand. Every so often I feel compelled to do a redesign of the creature. The above illustration is the one that I posted to Kaijuphile.com back in the early 00s.
