aliens aliens aliens!! This is a set of drawings I was commissioned for last year by @featherquillpen for another of their amazing LARPS. This one had its big convention debut in February 2024, and I had an awesome time also being their co-GM for the game. It's called The Crossroads Space Station Swingers Club, and it's about friendship and new connections and joy amid shifting political tides beyond any individual's control, and about representing alien hookups through various species-specific game mechanics that play out IRL kind of like improvisational modern dance.

Poetry gave me a brief description of each alien species to jump off from, and I had a lot of fun drawing an array of very different-looking guys. I wanted to draw each portrait as if they were hookup app pictures these beings had chosen for themselves, and some are more obviously that than others, like #2 posing gleefully with a hunted animal like a dude holding up a fish, and #7 striking a self-consciously casual pose in their room.
