This weekend, Lynn @kg6dny and I did our 10th year of Radio communications for the Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay. We would have not realized this had the race not given us these cool plaques for our Race Ham volunteer services. Time really does fly when you are having fun! Thanks, Steve KN6Y for roping us in back in 2009, and asking us back year after year. Thank you, Ginger AB6YL for picking up the baton from Steve, and keeping the momentum going. Thank you, Gene WB9COY for being an awesome team leader and Stage lead. Thanks to all of the W6SD Hams, XYLs, and other teammates throughout the years who made it a delight to sharpen our radio skills in the desert from 4 pm to 2 am on a Saturday night in late March. We miss you, Ray, John, Ilena, and Alan.
