Ahead of the official release of her twelfth studio album, π»ππ π³πππ ππ π¨ πΊπππππππ, Taylor Swift shared pictures from a photo shoot in which she wears a showgirl costume. Photos of her in this costume would go on to be used for the covers for the Limited Edition Deluxe CD entitled π°πβπ π©ππππππππ, and the π©πππ, π»πππβπ πΊπππ π©πππππππ vinyl collection, as well as the Target official store exclusive vinyl variant, π»ππ πͺππππ ππ ππππ π²πππ Edition. Β Costume designer @BobMackie mentioned on his Instagram that the costume is not just any old replica but an original showgirl costume he designed for the βJewel Finaleβ of the Las Vegas show π±ππππππ! which ran from 1981 to 2016. He described the costume as follows: Β βπ»ππ πππ, πππ ππππππππππ, πππ πππππππ π πππ πππ ππππππ ππππππππ πππ ππππππ ππππ π πππππ ππππππ πππ π πππ π ππππππππ. π»ππ πππ πππ πππ ππππππ ππππ πππ ππππππ πππ π ππππ ππ πππ πππ ππ-ππππ ππ πππ πππ πππ πππ πππππππππ ππ πππ πππ ππππππ.β Β At least three, but possibly more, costumes in this style exist, as seen in a 2016 photo shoot with dancer Katherine Schwing (as pictured) for the π³ππ π½ππππ πΉπππππ-π±ππππππ. The Las Vegas Sphere runs its giant screens using about 150 NVIDIA RTX A6000 graphics cards. Each one has 48GB of video memory, so together they add up to around 7.2TB (7,200GB) of VRAM.
