Terra: You said you'd be my friend no matter what, remember? Beast Boy: Slade was right. You don't have any friends.
Kill me
A paradox, that's how it's generally called. Adachi thought that sort of things only happened in the novels or in the movies. Yet that's what he was facing, a time paradox. Something that wasn't supposed to be there. Or, something that was there for a reason, more like an opportunity that -for once in his life- Adachi had to change 'his future'. But talking about a 'thing' isn't correct, we'd be talk about a person. Seta Souji. Yet, not the grown up one, the confident and strong leader of that group of brats, but the young version of it. There was no doubt about his identity: same deadpan, same bowl-cut, same look in the eyes. So that's what he got, a little child belonging to someone else's time line had hit his, the path of an already grown up Adachi who paid for his mistakes. At first, that thought didn't amazed him that much: what was wrong about getting along with a younger Seta? He seemed a nice boy. A nice, kind and affectionate boy. However...things changed as soon as he started to think--that damn habit, he'd have gotten rid of it much sooner.
As previously said, he might have belonged to a different time line. And this means that there was another little Adachi going around who, one day, would have tried to create the New World and get defeated by the silver haired boy. Summarizing this mess, if only Adachi had the guts, he could guarantee a victory to another 'Adachi'. Victory. The New World taking place. His miracle becoming reality.
He shook his head. N-no, he was only a child. He seriously sucked, if he only thought about such a crime for a second. It was...so disgusting of himself that----but isn't again destiny's fault?? What if Fate wanted to test him, to check if her was really keen on his beloved different world. What if that one really was a chance, an opportunity to change things? To change the world.
Until the very end, he had been in two minds about it. Attracting Souji to his house had been the easiest thing in the world. Do it or not. The boy was focused on the TV, oblivious to the gun Adachi was holding. Killing or not. The merry faces on the screen distracted the kid from the metallic sound of Adachi's trigger being teased by his fingers. Yes or no. Yes or no. He closed his eyes. You're doing it for yourself. You deserve it Adachi.
When he opened his eyes, a golden case was at his feet. Those anime characters were now dancing only for Adachi's yellow eyes.
Watched the finale of The Legend of Korra last night.
Honestly? I wanted to cry. It was so beautiful, I don't care if there are some plot holes left to fill, the ending was FABULOUS.
T___T *sobs in a corner somewhere*
