hii this is my cult of the goat au !! basically the goat comes from a "bad end" timeline. narinder doesn't try to kill them at the end. instead--aside from waiting for the goat to kill all the bishops--waits for the goat to become strong enough that narinder can swap places with them in his prison

so the goat is trapped there indefinitely, only able to escape when a connection opens up between them and the lamb. the goat uses the connection to propel themself into an entirely different timeline and is now kinda just. chillin there. anyway that's why goat isn't very fond of narinder
