4- The Socio-Sexual domestication circuit This circuit is literally only about sexual pleasure. That's it. It's not even about the need to mate or love. It's just about sexual pleasure. And it's stimulated by MDMA (ecstasy). Nothing much else to it.

3- The Laryngeal-manual symbolic circuit The hell kind of name is that Anyway, this circuit is all about associating with one's outside environment, and is activated by stimulants like cocaine and meth. I like to think of it as when you're on crack and you need to do stuff. You need to do ALL the stuff, and that involves being present in your environment

2. The emotional-locomotion circuit- Deals with dominance and submission, and is brought on by alcohol, barbiturates, and other depressants

The vegetative-invertebrate circuit- The first circuit to manifest, and therefore the most simple. It concerns infantile needs, such as cuddling, protection, comfort. Opiates are the drugs that can bring about the characteristics of this circuit. Opiates, as a brief definition, are painkillers, though that's putting it mildly. The sharp corners of life disappear, and nothing hurts. Heroin, OxyContin, and morphine are all examples of Opiates.

So, there's this thing called the eight circuit model of consciousness

Essentially it talks about the nesting dolls of life, thought, and behavior. Hypothesized by my homeboy and (if Tumblr is right) my past self, Timothy Leary, who actually EQUATED EACH CIRCUIT TO AN ALTERED STATE OF CONCIOUSNESS BROUGHT ON BY DIFFERENT SUBSTANCES if the capital letters didn't give it away, THAT IS KIND OF THE COOLEST SHIT EVER.
