Babylon 5 / Andreas Katsulas as Ambassador G'Kar
Just look at the sheer number of materials and textures that go into making this costume, from the ornate breastplate to the padded shoulders and studded sleeves. The designer for this show, Ann Bruce Aling, had a background mostly in theater design, and it shows in the bold design work. Combined with the prosthetics that turn the actor into an alien, the whole effect is a great example of worldbuilding through costume.

This was done with the minvember 2024 palette for defeat, so there's that. But I also just couldn't sleep last night and had just watched Comes the Inquisitor, so
I just discovered (after almost 4 and a half years of being into Babylon5) the Be Five. I tought it was a joke, but as of this moment Im just going to say that its one of the best things a show has ever delievered to its fans. I swear to good I had a great time listening to their songs and it made me so happy 😭😭 If anyone wants to discuss things about it I would be even happier
I found this story a few years ago and I highly recommend it. I don't know who wrote this, but all of my impressions that I'll probably publish are from this story. Enjoy it!
