My favorite fable fact is that magic carpets are capable of transporting people from location to location; not just by flight but by them just stepping on a carpet and literally popping up somewhere else.
Mainly because it just makes the concept of Baba having a couple in his little curiosities shop funnier.
He's traveled around Lore and has seen a lot of things but he struggles remembering exactly what all his trinkets can do and since Jack and Pinokuni are basically his assistants, at SOME POINT they test run things while cleaning stuff up to know where to put stuff; in the front because it's safe or in the back because it's dangerous.
So they come across a couple magic carpets and Baba is just "They help ya' get place to place but I forgot which one does what" since he's an old sheep.
And Pinokuni is concerned.
"What do you mean by that?"
"Well, they will either transport you or teleport you...I forgot which one does which though. I shoulda labeled them when I got them those 30 or 40 years ago."
So Jack casually unrolls one out and steps on it and nothing happens immediately
"Maybe this one is defect-"
And he just fuckin disappears and Pinokuni stares wide eyed at the spot where Jack used to be and Baba looks at the other unrolled one and a moment of silence passes before he breaks it with a "I guess this one is the one that flies you-"
More silence passes before Baba continues "The catch with the teleporting ones is that there's often another carpet or two synced up somewhere else...so...we might wanna call Jack and see where in Lore he ended up."
