Product Review : Clean Beauty Co - Babe Balm
Beauty News! This week Clean Beauty Co have launched a new product as part of their latest venture “Hero Beauty”. I’m a massive fan of these girls as they work with organic material and everything is cruelty free and full of natural skin loving ingredients (no nasty chemicals).
Babe Balm is the debut product to their new Hero Beauty range and I can attest that it is gorgeous. Vegan & Cruelty Free it is essentially a multi purpose balm. It makes sense to launch Hero Beauty with such a versatile product. This will soon become a kit staple for me as I switch my working makeup kit from high end luxury brands owned by powerhouse companies that still test on animals to more independent brands with higher morals and better ingredients for skin health.
Where in the past I have used Bobbie Brown’s Soothing Beauty Balm, the classic Elizabeth Arden 8 hour Cream and of course Vasaline as a cheek highlighter and skin staple, Hero Babe Balm will take president with no compromise in quality or performance.

Amongst it’s many uses, Babe Balm can work as :
a super hydrating lip balm that adds a little glossy sheen to lips
a natural skin highlighter for cheeks and eyelids
a moisturisers for use pretty much EVERYWHERE
a gentle and effective makeup remover when used with cotton pads
a cuticle oil to rehydrate dry skin and brittle nails
a mixing medium for creating cream lipsticks and blushers
What makes it so special?
Well apart from it being a cruelty free and vegan alternative and having super cute packaging, it’s full of natural ingredients that work to boost skin health and healing!
Kokomo butter, Monoi, Squalene, Hibiscus and Calendula work together to hydrate with hero ingredient Coenzyme Q10. The balm is a slightly pink colour due to it’s Pink Sweet Potatoe extract. As well as this it smells lush thanks to Brazilian Pequi oil.
