No yeah you see, my point is, Will has ocd. He has ocd. Not super bad but like, he has it. And he also has that fun thing where part of his intrusive thoughts is the fear that people can somehow hear his thoughts and judge him for them. Yes, he has that. He does.
#relating to will a whole lot so i'm gonna give him my ocd#not the really bad parts because those suck so bad that nobody should have them#and will deserves some piece and quiet#but like#it feels right#i always like to think of what characters i can project my mental health issues on#and like mike is obviously right there but idk i feel like his brain is so messy#he doesn't even get afraid of intrusive thoughts cause they get overshadowed by other shit already#will on the other hand#will thinks and analizes himself a Lit#*Lot#babe has ocd#i will not elaborate at this moment cause i'm too tired to think of how exactly it would affect him#but yeah he gets like squirmy around knives cause they give him intrusive thoughts and he has some magical thinking ocd#also the type of ocd where everything needs to be/feel even and balanced#so he'll like scratch his left cheek cause it's itchy and then he has to scratch his right cheek as well so it feels balanced again#like i'm just giving him my little ocd quirks that aren't too bad or noticable but they are there and when he's stressed they do get worse#me giving my blorbos my quirks and stress responses and little compulsions is actually the highest honor you could get#idk i really only project those onto my dearest characters#mike has my adhd and will has my ocd :>#also they're bot skin pickers but for mike it's more the skin around his fingernails and for will it's more his lips#lea's random thoughts#will byers#ocd#like idk previously when i've given a character my ocd it was always the version of it when it was really bad#but i feel like will would have the version of it that's kind of everyday ocd like it never really goes away#and you just kinda learn to deal and live with it. i feel like will has it more like that so it doesn't actually bother him too much#only when he's really stressed yk?#stranger things#will byers headcanon
