Ok, so my Philippines trip is in 2.5 weeks and I've nailed down the islands I'm hopping around to in the Visayas and I'm really PUMPED. Basing myself in Dumaguete/Negros Oriental, where I'll get scuba-certified. Then going to Siquilor and Bohol, where I'll do some jungle trekking, tarsier-spotting, whale-watching, and beach-bumming. Also, I'm going to do a homestay in Bohol where I'll stay with a Filipino family and get an authentic taste of daily life in the Visayas. It's fucking 1:30 am, and I need to be asleep, but I have an insane adrenaline/endorphin rush from excitement and just...just. Guys. It's going to be such an awesome 15 days.
