Band-aids

The purple patches on Rin’s cheeks are actually band-aids. As a child she had a bad habit of scratching her cheeks when she slept. Her mother would care for her by putting the purple band-aids since they were favorite color. Now she wears them as a tribute to her mother and they also hide a few light scars she received when very young.
