Eat the thinnings and eat the weeds! Just thinned the first of five rows of Carrots (Daucus carota) and I'm heading home with the babiest of Carrots and delicious Lamb's Quarters (Chenopodium album), which are native to Europe and used especially in Indian soups, curries, and stuffed breads.
