I have found that some characters are surprisingly hard, despite the show's style being rather simple!
For example Sasha Whitman and Duncan, I thought as they were pretty plain characters that they'd be easier to draw, turns out it's the opposite way round! Characters with very distinguishable features are tenfold easier to draw than characters that are plain/ not whacky.
But on the flipside to that, the characters that I find surprisingly easy ("easy" lol bykwim) are usually more plus-size characters (thinking specifically Felix Fischoeder and Teddy), I guess I'm just more practiced with curved shapes and lines!
My favourite in terms of the final product/ final outcome has to be the digital freshmeat!Mort piece I did a lil while back. But my favourite in terms of sheer enjoyment whilst drawing has gotta be the colour studies I did of Marshmallow!
But honestly I generally have been loving giving love to less popular characters, it's nice to produce something fresh or different to the viral fan art that circulates often! Kinda like how Krystal Flemming gave SO much love to Frond and Ambrose that they spearheaded an entire wave of love for the duo!
Overall I just really enjoy creating content for the Burger universe, even if the ideas are not popular or universally agreed on, it just brings me endless amounts of joy! It's like for the moments I'm creating, the universe is real and I am in it and that is something I simply wouldn't have otherwise!
