The Eevee paused, thinking before answering Triton. "Vee." It squeaked with a nod. The small Pokemon frowned, flattening its ears. Finally realizing the situation they were in, they looked as if they were on the verge of tears.
Triton slowly slipped out of the water, tapping the Eevee’s back with his tail as he led it to a small, hidden berry farm, “Here, little buddy. Eat up.” Triton attempted to smile once more, every situation going through his head. Would he have to adopt it? He didn’t know if he could do that, what if someone was looking for it? Perhaps he should write a letter to Team Stars, maybe they would be able to find its parent’s. But what if it was abandoned? Triton wouldn’t be able to part with something left for nothing.
His head was spinning with all of the thoughts flooding it. He hoped that he’d be able to figure out something soon...
But at least he got the baby fed.
