In God’s perfect timing, I went into labour with blessing #4! Fortunately Abby is old enough now to watch the smaller children while I’m in labour and delivering her newest sibling.
It’s a girl! Dorothea May Hastings was born just as the sun began to rise. I can already see a glint of red in her hair - another redhead, just like her big sisters! John is the only brunette so far - it’s like God designed it perfectly so that girls resemble their Mama and boys their father!
We are ALWAYS eager to welcome more blessings into our lives! It was so exciting once the biblically ordained 80 days since Dorothea’s birth had passed, and I could resume being joyfully available to Charlie! (AN: Ew.)
