It was a little joke he thought of; certainly not original, but it made him laugh so he figured he’d deliver the joke to her as well. But he wasn’t opposed to talking about this, he did it freely as it stood, so what was the harm in doing so now? 

With a soft smile, the greenette speaks; voice matching the softness of his features.

He nods. Though at this rate, this really is just more compliments than expressing his love...so that had to change a bit.

..Yes, his life was his; not the gods. But to him, even if that were true, his life belonged to Gilgamesh the moment the two of them became friends ( and even more so after becoming lovers ). He was hers, forever; that was a fact that would never change, no matter how far into the future it came to. 

“ I love you, Gil. I love everything about you; your voice, your body, your eyes, your personality, your hair. You are my meaning in life. “

        “If you believe myself to be a charlatan then I shall say it myself, I detest lies and liars. I especially hold in distaste men and women who abuse trust for their own personal gain, I have no need for her status and titles nor will I ever use her for personal gain. After all, I am my own person and bring my own titles amongst other things to the table.”

         As hard as it was to believe, he had no need for such things from others. His feelings were indeed genuine though he understood the distrust given the long history. A dragon, a war god, and even an archon himself stood before her but he didn’t feel annoyance about her questioning much less anything else.

        “I take these things seriously, far more than it may seem. After all, I am not a man to lie when I say that I do genuinely feel attachment to her.”
