“Ese pendejo!” Babylon raged as she barged unceremoniously into Belial's place without knocking. “Do you know what he did this morning?” She paused for dramatic effect before continuing, the who being deemed unnecessary as she expected her friend to catch on soon enough. "He said ‘Good morning Babylon!’ Can you believe that!"
Like most of her complaints, this one was directed towards her boss. Now, for most people it wouldn’t be a problem, but Babylon’s employer never bothered to acknowledge anyone in the morning and especially not by their actual name.
“And not only that but then he asked if my husband would be coming by for lunch again!" Finally ready to get to the point, she took a moment to calm herself and take a breath. “Men are such idiots and yet they get paid the big bucks. I am this close to finally quitting and letting him run the company into the ground.”
