Galeforce is the adopted father to baby Reginald who is about 1 years old. One day he goes to check on Reginald who should be asleep in his crib but to Galeforce’s horror Reginald is missing. Que Galeforce basically ignoring all his basic human needs trying desperately to find any hint of where his baby is. One day he gets a clue and follows it to an abandoned toppat base where he finds baby Reg laying on the cold floor crying his eyes out with no blanket. Galeforce is quick to take Reg to the doctors on base but finds himself very reluctant to hand his baby over.
Eventually Galeforce does give the doctors Reginald, but is by his side the whole time. When Galeforce can take Reginald back home with him, he doubles up on security and moves Reginald's crib to his room for now. Galeforce still had no idea how Reginald was taken from him.
Galeforce is still very protective of Reginald as he grows up, but also making sure to respect Reginald's privacy and give him some space. Older Reginald jokes that his dad is super protective, not really understanding the reason why.
Until one day, where several Toppats pull Reginald off to the side and ask for him to join them. Reginald listened to their whole pitch and was considering joining the Toppats, until one of them slips up that this was better then babynapping him long ago. Reginald didn't take this well and ran, showing off that his dad taught him self defense.
Reginald tells Galeforce everything that happened and while Galeforce was worried about Toppats being so close to the base, he knew it would be time to explain everything.
So Galeforce pulls out all the newspaper articles involving Reginald's babynapping and explains the whole story to him. Reginald now knows why his father was so protective, and now has his own hatred for the Toppats.
It would be several more years until Reginald could help his dad take down the Toppats, but for the both of them, taking them down would be a sweet victory.
