BJJ Class
Monday morning 6am with Keith. We working on some basic double- and single-leg entries to warm up and then got into a nice back take from closed guard.
With opponent in your closed guard, framing their right hand against your sternum and left hand on your hip, grab a catspaw grip with your right hand and weave your left hand under to grab your own wrist for more support.
With your head flat against the mat, pull your knees in as you circle up with your hands to get opp’s arm straight over your head.
Continue to circle to your right and hold their wrist out to the side as you come onto your right side.
Reach your left hand up to grab behind opp’s left lat.
Let go with your right and come up onto your right elbow.
Push down with your left leg to weave over opp and get your hooks in for back control.
We worked on finishing with a gi choke by taking the lapel with the right hand and pulling across as well. Then I sat out for live rolls. ಠ_ಠ
