The Project The intervention is destined for residential and recreational purposes, a few metres from the sea, with interiors that offer all the necessary comfort according to the client’s requests. All the complex is made up of bearing walls with concrete in view, except for the basement which is organized according to a web of pillars as regularly distributed as the car park and shops permit. The exterior is made up of a wooden formwork in vertical slats. That provides the building with a kind of rough appearance which attempts, however, to blend in with the surrounding landscape. The style seems to follow the same informal lifestyle of the community, in which buildings are defined by heterogeneity and a casual air without aesthetical standards. The basement holds shops and services that are connected with a resort-like space. In this space there is a communal swimming pool with a wide deck around it to enjoy free time in total relaxation inside the complex. The pool overlooks infinity and beyond, which enhances the sea views from inside. The residential complex, as mentioned before, faces the ring road on one side. On this side, vines and arboreal mass are to grow to make the facade completely green, giving a particular look to it. This, besides having aesthetic purposes, is done as an attempt to screen partially the atmosphere and noise coming from the ring road. This solution has been achieved also thanks to specific trees, indigenous to seashore areas and clearly used by the locals, that have been planted in the flowerbeds located by the basement. Moreover, to assist this purpose, panels in Brise Soleil have been included in the facade that screen the walkways to access the apartments and act as railings, creating some sort of substructure. Regarding planimetry and distribution, the complex counts with two staircases, and elevators that provide access to 42 apartments distributed in four floors. . . . #newarchitecture #italiandesign #architecture #backfacade #italianarchitectinkorea #residences #hoteldesign #facadedesign #greenfacade #anDstudio #lucarchitetto .
