Boots lives on as Mr. Business!

Many years ago when I worked on Bob's Burgers as Color Stylist, the design for Gayle's cat, "Mr. Business", came to me for color. I gasped because the design looked exactly like Boots, even down to the missing tooth. Naturally, I had to color him like Boots! Over the years, Gayle and Mr. Business have become regulars on the show and part of Bob's merchandising. The Mr. Business plush was a limited edition toy that I never got my hands on until this week. Now that I'm back at Bob's, I told our producer the Boots story and she gave me her Mr. Business! My late, great Boots lives on in cartoon infamy! (sorry to all my co-workers who have heard this story a million times and credit to designer Dave Creek who, I think, drew the original design).
