The brains behind Hope’s Peak’s administration had come up with the Ultimate PR move. In order to encourage the mingling of main course and reserve course students, the former were tasked with teaching the latter about (or through) their talents. As a result, Hope’s Peak’s bigwigs expected a boost in the morale of reserve course students, and, more importantly, a furthering of the Super High School Level’s talents.
The Super High School Level Manager, Nekomaru Nidai, decided to scout for reserve course students who exhibited any amount of athletic potential. Unfortunately, finding shining talent among their uniformed crowds proved to be a difficult task. Nonetheless, when he was on the verge of giving up, Nidai came across a most peculiar boy.
The boy looked even gloomier than his peers, and appeared to be only about half as tall as Nidai. What caught Nidai’s attention the most, however, were his powerfully-built legs, which evidenced an ability to jump to incredible heights. Nidai approached the boy, drawn by the bizarre fact that someone like him would be stuck in the reserve course.
“Hello there! I’m unsure if you’ve heard, but we main course students have been asked to use our talents to teach reserve course students such as yourself. As the Super High School Level Manager, I can’t help but feel as though you have some sort of untapped potential… So I want you to become one of my athletes!”
