In your opinion, is it worth anything to tell a close friend about things that happened in your past that are weighing on you? Is there any point or would it just come across as being a drama-creator or a burden? For example reasons why your depression suddenly flairs up or why you’re so scared of sexual relationships.

If he/she is your really close friend, they would do anything in their power to help you.

I understand you completely, I always kept my problems to myself because I never wanted to become a burden to someone or bore people with my problems. I thought if I’d share, they would think I want attention. In another thought, I knew no one would want to hear bad things from a person, they really don’t care.

There was a time because of my depression I felt terrible about my body, I hated mysef. (Sometimes I still do but not because of my body anymore.) I was so convinced that guys don’t like me, because the way I look, because I wasn’t a size 0. But now, I know if a guy loves me, he is going to love me because who I am, my body does not define me.

I know people will tell you that it is gonna be okay or whatever, but it won’t be okay. UNLESS you make it okay. And you will make it okay. You have the power to do it.
