Smoked Fish
For the past couple of years, Mother Nature just hasn’t been able to find it in herself to endorse a holiday centered on the activity of burning things. Nevertheless, while a rainy April 20th may have dampened a few spirits at the Civic Center assembly, the fire certainly wasn’t extinguished from Hostel Fish guests. In hazy good cheer, guests rotated between the balcony, where the grill was smoking and churning out burgers and hot dogs, and the bar, for libations and hostel-provided snacks. Good vibes were tangible.
Dig this excerpt from one of our recent guests’ riveting review:
“…Big cheers for the lobby desk and bar stuff, all of them, Thursday night thru to Friday. The care and love on display with all guests and situations was... jaw-droppingly awesome. They say you can judge a society by how it treats its most unfortunate, you guys showed such character when the moment came, and struck balances with such care, and even the guests awake were blowing my addled mind just with the kind of cool cats they were being into the night… flawless victory for Hostel Fish, I can't imagine anyone else getting things so right. I would do this all again, and again. Thank you for a righteous experience.”
Thank you, Benjamin! The guests are what make Hostel Fish a truly spectacular and unique place to work and hang out. On behalf of all the staff at Hostel Fish, thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed the weekend with us!
