Punz twirled the knife in their hand, flitting it in and out of their inventory. They were ready to go, technically- they were leaning against the door, their shulkers were packed, neatly organized just how they liked them- but their golden carrots had meant nothing to Sam, who was currently zipping through the kitchen in an attempt to send Punz off with their favorite sandwiches.
"Remember to breathe, Sam." Punz called. Sam ignored them in favor of stacking roast beef slices onto cheese.
They had to admit, it was kind of cute watching him fuss. He had settled into their home with a domestic air that both did and did not surprise them- Sam was a man who liked routine, and moving in together had required sacrificing his own to make an entirely new one.
He seemed almost freer now, however, relaxed in a way Punz had thought impossible. Even now, despite the franticness, his husband lacked any tightness around the eyes, locked muscles or tense shoulders. His movements were gloriously fluid as he slid each sandwich into a small picnic bundle.
"Honey, do you really think I'm going to need that much?" Punz teased as they finally stood and walked over to the counter.
"You'll get hungry going out that far." Sam insisted. He drew the strings of the bundle tight, tugging to make sure it stayed closed. "The golden carrots should be used for health anyway; it's not like they taste all that good. It's better if you eat something you actually enjoy."
Punz could have argued that golden carrots tasted just fine, really, but Sam seemed stubborn enough to argue, so they just chuckled.
"I'm glad that you know what food I enjoy, then."
Sam's cheeks went blue. He held out the bundle, and Punz accepted it, storing it away in their inventory.

I'm getting sleepy but it's important you know that Punz and Sapnap are going exploring together, and Sam is going to make sure They Don't Go Hungry and also that Punz is safe and loved
And Punz and Sam kiss at the door and Punz says Dream will be back tonight so Sam won't be lonely and that they Love Him, making Sam melt
Punz and Sapnap are friends and Punz loves Sam, those are my two thoughts
