Crystal Palace Bowl Stage
It’s not often (I hope) that I ask for much but our wonderful decrepid Crystal Palace bowl stage affectionally known as ‘the laptop’ has a crowdfunder to bring it back to it’s former glory. This area has staged big acts like, Bob Marley, The Cure, Bruce Springsteen, Pink Floyd, Beach Boys, Elton John etc. More importantly it hosted a Battle of the South London Bands event where local Performers got to showcase their material until the venue was deemed too dangerous.
It’s a wonderful outside venue, that on a sunny hazy day can transcend you away. It’s a gem of a summer music venue that deserves another life.
