So...
My Obnoxious Phone has Morphed into Evil Phone.
Last Night around 3:00AM, for No Apparent Reason, I discovered that it decided to delete ALL of my contacts!
When I went to the Backup Assistant App to restore my 104+ Deleted Contacts, it seemed to do nothing. All I got were some Random Useless Numbers That The Phone Came With in my Contact List.
So I called Verizon. At 3:30AM.
Some Broad named Porscha (or Maserati or BMW or Something) eventually answered and after calling me on the House Phone, having me restart my ObnoxiousPhone, take the battery in & out & suggesting that perhaps one of my *Non* Verizon Phone Chargers may have Sabotaged my Phone, She had me get out of bed at 4AM, log BACK onto my PC, go to the Website, and look for my Deleted Contacts in the Online Backup Assistant.
Nothing. Feh.
So, since it was now 4:30AM and there were *no* Actual Conscious Technicians available, she suggested she have one phone me later in the day at a Time That Was Convenient For Me.
I arranged to have Someone call me at Noon, which they Failed to Do, so at 12:15PM I phoned Verizon once again, got another Broad who couldn't figure out how to get into my Account, and, FINALLY after an Eternity I was connected with an Actual Conscious Technician.
When I logged back into my Online Backup Assistant I still got *nothing*, so the Actual Conscious Technician, whose name was probably Brad, fiddled around with something on *his* end (which, BTW, was in Jacksonville, Florida just for the record), and ultimately discovered that my Obnoxious Phone had somehow decided to place ALL of my contacts in the Trash!
Awesome.
So, Actual Conscious Technician was able to retrieve them and Re-Sync my Contacts to my ObnoxiousPhone.
When I asked him WHY this may have occurred, his only reply was *Sometimes they do that."
Awesome.
Evil Phone.
