These bacon-wrapped dates are stuffed with tangy goat cheese and make the most amazing sweet and salty bite. The dates become caramelized and sticky in the oven while the smoky bacon crisps up around the outside making them impossible to resist. They're easy to prep in advance and always the first thing to disappear at a party!
A night's out at the Noble Fox, Ashland, Oregon (no, we didn't try the Pappy Van Winkle, though we were tempted).

Bacon Wrapped Dates Stuffed with Blue Cheese
Dates are wrapped in bacon, stuffed with blue cheese, and baked until crisp. For a party, these are delectable and incredibly simple to make. It's okay to prepare them a few hours in advance because you can serve them at room temperature!

NOTE TO SELF: Been looking for an opportunity to come back here since the last visit made my top ten list. I didn't enjoy this meal quite as much as that one, but everything was top notch. I could have made a meal out of a bucket of that watermelon ceviche. Come back and keep trying all the things.
