A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, featuring crispy bacon, a fried egg, and cheddar cheese.
Instructions: Cook the bacon in a pan until crispy, then remove and drain on paper towels. In the same pan, remove some bacon grease, leaving about 1 teaspoon in the pan. Whisk the egg in a bowl and pour it into the pan with the bacon grease. Cook the egg over medium-low heat, seasoning with salt and pepper, until the yolk is set but still runny. Butter one side of each bread slice. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in a separate pan over medium heat. Top with one slice of cheddar cheese, the cooked bacon, the fried egg, and the remaining slice of cheddar cheese. Place the second slice of bread, buttered side up, on top. Cook until the bottom bread slice is golden brown, then flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted. Remove from the pan, let it cool for a minute, then slice in half and serve.
