Are we allowed to change the glee character's sexuality?
Technically, yes. Â You can put down whatever ships you'd like. Â However, we do not have set endgames, and, even though some of our auditions have marked "OTP" or "endgame", we will not set endgame ships. Â We want all characters to interact with multiple people, and love the idea and the drama of mid-games.
With that being said, if we get two great auditions for a single character with the only real difference being ships? Â We'll take the one whose ships seem to mesh the best with our current cast of people or with who we think we can get in the RP. Â For instance, I don't know that Joe Hart auditioning for some Kurt/Joe fun would be that realistic or mesh well. Â (Sorry if that offends people. Â I tried to come up with one that really wouldn't make sense. Â Teen Jesus? Â Clearly this is admin!Satan....)
I hope that answers your question and doesn't deter you from applying! Â We love to see where people take the characters. Â And if you can make the sexuality change realistic (bad boy Puck is probably not going to be jumping on the gay bus out of the blue tomorrow), then we will absolutely consider it. Â :)
you could also make your decision
Dear Anon, you could also be more patient. Â Patience is a virtue, after all. Â Just because we have an audition for a character does not mean we have to accept it within a couple of days' time. Â I have been in the boat where I have auditioned for RPs before and had to wait around and I hated it. Â So I understand wanting to know already or losing interest. Â However, there are a lot of things to take into consideration. Â We take age, timezone, activity level, writing ability, and ships all into consideration when making our decision. Â We want the applicant to mesh well with who we already have in the RP and we also don't want them to cut out early if their ship is unlikely to happen. Â Plus, and we have stated this before, we like to have a few options to pick from when making a decision. Â So, I'm sorry if this upsets you, Anon, but we are not currently ready to make any further casting decisions.
