Oh this is not going to be easy because I've watched a LOT of shit anime and I forget them almost immediately unless they're SO shit they leave an impression lol. And some of these might offend folks. But the ones that have:

My Happy Marriage

honestly what the hell was this drama's problem? It had all the trappings of a decent, if not a good anime, but as soon as I heard the dub actors I knew I was in for a bad time and in that regard this shitty drama didn't disappoint.

Vampire Knight

SO much anime from this design era is fucking garbage, but WOW, it was almost impressive how fucking TRASH this one was. Like man, every time this girl left campus she gets lured into an alley by a vampire child and ambushed, and yet not only does she keep leaving campus, she never even attempts to be cautious about going off with random vampire children. Even better, at one point, after like the second or third attack, her friend is like aye you good? I should come with you! And this dumb bitch is like nah, it's all good, I got this.

Oh really? Is that why you're unconscious in a random room now? That's actually the least offensive thing in this show. I haven't even touched the incest/not incest.

Devil's Line

Ok, what the hell was THIS drama's problem? I can usually tell by the dub voice actors if a drama is gonna be shit or not, and I knew once I heard these ones, but I had to jump all the way out when he was struggling with an erection after idk talking to the main female lead or seeing her bleed? I think it was the latter. He had to lock himself up in the bathroom and I think the implication was he stroked himself off I guess? I don't remember but I was OVER IT. Anime gets SO weird about vampires.

Naruto/Boruto

I know I'm gonna piss some people off, but I just firmly believe that at some point, an anime has diminishing returns and if I need a whole separate document telling me which filler eps to skip that, that kind of anime is gonna be it. Like, I'm sorry but 600+ episodes, it's impossible even half of those are actual, good, strong quality episodes. And having watching a lot, they really, really aren't. Naruto is MID at best. Boruto is trash.

Jujutsu Kaisen

I know this is gonna make people MAD mad. I hated this anime. I don't think I got past the first five episodes? Three maybe? I think I'm just too old to be interested in the "I'm a loveable idiot" character that isn't that loveable and all the obnoxious screaming.

Demon Slayer

I should qualify this with, I actually don't think this is a bad anime per se. My mistake was watching the dub first. It's been such a long time since there's been a shitty dub of a top tier anime, but this season 1 dub was GARBAGE. I watched the sub, and it's actually a strong anime, but for me the well is tainted, and also, it's too screamy for me. Again, I'm not a 15 year old boy, so all the screaming gives too much Dragon Ball Z and I feel like I genuinely did my time.

Tokyo Ghoul

It breaks my heart to add this here, because, season 1 was ROUGH, but s2 really found its footing and was heartbreaking, and beautiful and fantastic and the OST went HARD and it was just so good, and then every subsequent episode after that was more ass than the one before???? I ended up looking up the manga halfway through because I just kept being like ok what the ACTUAL fuck is going on? How come no one who died in s2 is actually dead?? What are they DOING???? Yeah. It got....weird.

Code Geass

I remember so little of this anime outside of finding it absolutely ridiculous.

I cannot remember the name of this anime, it just came out, the dub sounds fucking awful and I don't think the sub will be better. This is the kind of like...low calibre romance anime they crank out every so often to keep the lights on I guess.

There are so, so many more. I just forget them. Fun ask!

The weirdest fetish content I've personally encountered in anime/manga was when I read the Elfen Lied manga.

I'd always seen the anime getting super high praise for being "psychological" and "super dark", but the manga was just bland shock value violence and VERY OBVIOUS diaper fetish stuff. Like I swear there was at least one scene for every female character where they pissed in a diaper or on the floor.

Elfen Leid sucked and the people praising it were so full of crap. Terrible writing, characters that had no real personality outside of pee and violence, and very uncomfortable images of minors. It's like a parody of the worst anime tropes, and people unironically ate that shit up.

Have you ever watched some animated film outside your comfort zone that made you go "what in the hell did I just watch?"

Last night I watched the '80s adult cult classic Heavy Metal. How I was able to sit through an hour-and-a-half of scenes like this (and then some) with a straight face, I'll never figure out.

In short; yes.

In long; My sister and I make a habit of viewing lots of garbagebecause we're fans of Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Rifftrax. Watching with a straight face is actively discouraged.

Here's one of their "animated" offerings called "Attack of the Super Monsters," which is some kind of anime with live-action dinosaur puppets. It features clunky animation, awful dubbing, terrible effects and an incomprehensible script; i.e. perfect for riffing. It will destroy any braincells you managed to save after "Heavy Metal." I know- I haven't any brain at all!
