Just a little something for #sergeantsaturday. I love watching the sunset with Hunter, and he and his friends enjoyed exploring this morning. I make these for myself and can make them for others. These are custom Black Series figures I make, using 3D printed heads I paint, and painting a lot more detail on the bodies.
Drum roll please! Howzer is as done as I can make him for now. It'll be a while before his boots come, and I can do the modifications I want to. But here he is in all his glory!
This was a learning experience, since there are no instruction manuals on this stuff (or if so, I don't know about them!) We used articulated arms with thermalmoldable hands, and getting them to attach solidly was a challenge. The hands were easier to shape to hold the rifle. I wish I could have made the armor a bit "leaner" fit like the animated style clones but it's hard with this style product. I still like it.
The armor is vacuum printed, made by Takanoarts in the UK. The head is 3D printed, with an MJB Customs animated style file. The DC-15S is also 3D printed. The pauldron was a kit from Neopropshop that I modified. Everything was painted by me.

I got a lot of Hunter's armor kit yesterday from Takanoart. I got right to work, have this much done already. I got the legs done, just ran out of time to get them on him. I hope the shoulders pieces come tomorrow, really want those on there. I forgot to put his knife on for this photo too, but will next time. I am so happy to see this dream come to reality. Next up, Howzer. The rest of his armor kit came yesterday too.

I finished my Echo S2 custom 1:6 scale figure last night. I may tweak a few things if/when I can find parts, but I like him well enough to share pictures. I love all the colors on these two figures.

Because we had full sun, I braved the below zero windchill to get some updated photos of my Hot Toys figures with their MJB Customs 3D printed heads. I just finished Echo. I had another one that was printed a little too big, but this one is perfect. I tweaked his features a little to make it look more like him. I love that we can add these to these characters that only exist in animation (except that brief bit of Rex in Ahoska with helmet on.) I am going to look into getting animated style armor for Rex and Howzer next.

I made some tiny men! I customized some Black Series figures with MJB Customs animated style 3D printed heads, and a new paint job for all three. This is addictive! They keep me company while I work on my compture.
