Just finishing up the first episode of the Bad Batch and itâs soooo good, the characters are sooo lovable.
Happy pride! Do you have any hcs about the batchâs sexualities? I know reqs are closed but I mean this as like a quick question you donât have to answer if you donât want an d you donât have to write like actual hcs if that makes sense.
Happy Pride ahhhhh!!!! Iâm going to assume you mean their sexual orientations in which case YES I do have hcs. I donât get to incorporate these into my writing a lot since I do x reader and generally have to figure out how to cater to the majority (which isn't a complaint just like how it works lol) so I appreciate your ask!
Also throwing in my thoughts about their experience levels because I can. Putting it under a cut since there are discussions of sex but thereâs nothing explicit.

Alone on kamino
Chapter two
Sergeant Hunter x reader
Summary: Kamino is all youâve ever known. Itâs all you remember. Youâve been on the stormy planet your whole life, cooped up in the lab and not allowed to associate yourself with the clones. Once omega came along, you werenât so alone. You helped raise her, becoming like her mother/ When one day, the end of the war comes and the rise of the empire arrives. At the assembly, alongside Nala se and omega, you spot a unique batch of clones omega had often talked about. One of them, the sergeant, capturing your attention.
Warnings: none for now

Nala Se wasnât too happy with the mess hall fight. She was especially disappointed in you for allowing it to happen. So of course, you were stuck with paperwork. Meanwhile omega got to go with Nala se so Nala se could keep an eye on omega while you did your work.
You let out a heavy sigh as you scribble words onto the paper, not even caring what they said as you chuck it onto the pile of finished works. Youâd done paperwork many many times but it didnât make it any easier.
Suddenly the doors to the lab opened and omega skips in.
âMeg, whatâs up-â you start.
âCome on! We got a mission! Hurry up AZI!â She grabs you hand and drags you to the door.
âA mission? From who?!â
âMeâ she grins cheekily before running off down the hall. Oh no. No no no. Sheâs gonna cause chaos.
You sigh and run after her, jeez sheâs fast. Turning the corner, you look around and unfortunately donât spot her.
âWhere is she?â You murmur to yourself. You open up a door and surprise surprise, omega and AZI were inside looking through what seemed to be clone force 99âs barracks.
âOmega!â You hiss, stepping inside. âItâs not nice to go through peopleâs things. Now come on, letâs get back to the lab!â
âHang on! Weâre doing a research task!â Omega squeaks, but unfortunately AZI knocks something over, leaving a loud crash.
âSomeoneâs comingâ omega says, âtime to go.â
She grabs AZIâs arm and makes her way towards where you stand at the door. You turn around to leave when the door swooshes open and four troopers enter.
âYouâre not authorised to be hereâ one trooper says.
âWe-â you start but omega cuts in.
âWe got lost. Sorry, it wonât happen again.â
âPack up their gear and take it to the hangerâ the trooper orders the others. âYou, youâre coming with meâ he grabs omegas arm.
âWe will not. We are official kaminoan-â AZI starts
âDonât touch me droid!â The trooper shouts and stuns him. Oh gosh, this couldnât get any worse.
âAZI!â Omega cries, as the trooper grabs her again.
âHey! Let her go. Weâre kaminoan personnel and we got lost. I promise you it wonât happen again.â You panic, stopping the trooper.
The trooper looks at you before pointing his blaster. The last thing you hear before the stun bolt hit was omega yelling.
Eyes fluttering open, a groan escapes your throat as you sit up. Your head pounded, that was your first thought. BeforeâŠâomega!â You gasp, scrambling to your feet.
âHey hey! Iâm here!â Omega appears by your side. âWe were put in this cell. Iâm sorry, I didnât mean for this to happenâ
âOh megâ you let out a sigh of relief and pull her into your arms. âIâm just glad youâre okayâ
After another few minutes passed - you werenât sure if it was 10 or 50 - a few troopers enter the brig Along with clone force 99. You exchange a glance with omega before looking up as theyâre put in the same cell.
âSmells weirdâ wrecker grunts.
âBecause itâs cleanâ echo sasses back.
âWell the plan wasnât a total failureâ tech says, pointing at you and omega.
Omega gives a small wave and you blush as being noticed. It seemed hotter, was it just you?
âGoodyâ Crosshair sneers.
âI warned you not to come backâ omega says as Hunter crouches in front of you two. You couldnât help but notice he was in just his blacks, and the way it defined his muscles and figure..weâre all clones built like this? Why were you sweating?
âHad toâ Hunter replies, âwe were looking for you two.â
âFor us?â You question, finally uttering two words.
âWhat do you say kid- and youâ he nods at you. âWant to come with us? Or did we get captured for nothing?â
âYou came back for us?â Omega checks again.
âThatâs right. Or you can stay on kamino ifâŠâ Hunter starts.
âNo, itâs like I said before! I want to go with you.â Omega smiles as she stands.
But of course the moment had to be ruined as Crosshair sneers,
âHow touching.â
You blink, still processing and Hunter glares at Crosshair, standing up and facing him.
âUh, hunter? How are we planning on breaking out of here?â Wrecker asks.
âIâm working on itâ Hunter grits out.
Crosshair scoffs. âYou know what you should work on? Explaining when you went soft.â He points at Hunter.
âStow it, Crosshairâ echo snaps.
âDonât you see weâre locked up in here because of him? He had us disobeying orders!â Crosshair continues.
âI never thought you disobeying orders was a problemâ tech says.
âYeah, we do it all the timeâ wrecker adds.
âGood soldiers follow ordersâ crosshair snarls and you place a hand protectively on omegas shoulder. âEvery choice youâve made since kaller has been wrong. First, the padawan, then gererra. Youâve become a liability.â
âWe can debate my choices later. For now, letâs focus on getting out of hereâ
You gulp as you glance between the brothers. Youâd clearly missed something, and the squad seemed to have some drama. You were too busy thinking to realise omega had sat next to Crosshair.
âYouâre angryâ omega notes.
âHow perceptiveâ Crosshair sarcastically replies.
âI know what youâre going to do, but please donât.â
âWhat do you know?â
She places a hand on his shoulder, âI know itâs not your fault. You canât help it.â
âOmega-â you cut in, sensing Crosshair was ina bad mood.
A few troopers enter.
âCT-9904, youâre coming with us.â
The ray shield drops and you step in front of omega.
âOh no no no. We stay together.â Hunter shakes his head.
The trooper rams the butt of his blaster into hunters abdomen, making him hunch over. You and omega let out a small gasp and you move her back further behind you.
âStand downâ the trooper orders.
Crosshair steps forward and follows the troopers as they lead him out.
Once the shield reappears, you step forward and place a hesitant hand on hunters shoulder.
âAre you alright?â
âIâll be fineâ he grunts.
âLet me checkâ you insist.
âItâs okay-â
âIâm a medic. Pleaseâ you cut him off.
He nods and sits on the bench and omega sits next to him as you prod his abdomen. You notice her copying his positions and chuckle to yourself. Seems she found a new favourite.
After enough prodding, you deemed Hunter okay and tech sits up.
âIâve got it. Why didnât I think of it before?â He says, shoving echo aside to sit near Hunter. âThis is not a prisonâ
âYeah, well I beg to differ.â Echo argues. Tech just shakes his head.
âThis is a kaminoan facility. It was built prior to the clone wars. There were no barracks or prisons when it was constructed.â Tech explains.
âWell how does that help us?â You cut in, curious now.
The batch exchange a shocked glance at your contribution.
âBecause while these cells were retrofitted to hold normal individuals, they could not possibly account for someone like wrecker.â Tech replies.
âOh! You mean I could punch our way out?â Wrecker booms, causing you all to shush him.
âOh. Right. You mean I could punch our way out?â He whispers.
âIf you punch the correct spotâ tech corrects.
âRight. Show me where.â
âIf this is going to work, weâll need some cover. Form a wall.â Hunter orders and you nod, standing between Hunter and omega.
Tech prods the wall for a few seconds before whispering, âhit this, here.â
âRightâ wrecker nods, moving to the wall. âTell me when.â
âNowâ Hunter says, followed by a bang as wrecker hits the wall. You flinch at the sound before trying to act causal as the guards look over to eye the cell, then looking away.
âNothing happenedâ wrecker whispers.
âAre you sure this is going to work?â Hunter asks tech, who replies to wrecker,
âTry it again, a little harder.â
âYouâre all clear, make it count.â
âOkayâ wrecker nods, pulling his fist back before swinging it at the wall with a clang!
âOh it still didnât workâ wrecker groans.
âOh yes it didâ tech says as he pulls at the crack in the wall, the metal bending back to make a hole. âLookâ
âIâll never fit through that!â
âAstute as always wrecker, but, I was actually going to suggestâŠâ
âIâll do itâ omega interjects, causing your eyes to widen.
âWhat! No, you canât-â you start
âYou sure kid?â Hunter asks.
âIâm sureâ
You bite your lip, conflicted on whether you should trust their judgement or protect omega.
Hunter gives a nod, âokay, get to the console and hit the lever to lower the ray shield.â
Omega gives a salute and crawls into the hole as tech and wrecker open it wider for her. Once inside, they bend the metal and close the hole, leaving omega to finish this herself.
Anxiety twisted in your stomach as the seconds passed without omega.
âIncomingâ echo says, snapping you from your thoughts.
Wrecker sits in front of the crack as echo speaks.
âWait, whereâs the girl?â One of the troopers asks.
You gulp, here goes nothing.
âIâm right here?â
âThe kidâ the trooper snaps.
âYou tell usâ Hunter shrugs.
âHarm her and youâre a dead manâ echo threatens.
The other trooper speaks into his comms, âoperations, we need a status report on prisoner 0219.â
You panic as a clank noise comes from the ceiling and the trooper looks around.
âWhat was that?â
âSorryâ wrecker cuts in. âThese floors donât hold me so well onâŠaccount of them not being designed to hold abnormal individuals, such as myself.â
Hunter, tech and echo share a look and you hold back a squeak of panic. Great, this is going great.
âWhatâs behind you?â The reg questions, the others raising their blasters.
âNothingâ
âMove away from the wall. Now.â
âWhy donât you come here and make me?â wrecker shoots back.
The troopers comm beeps and he listens in.
âCopy that. The girlâs still registered in lockdownâ the trooper says to the others. âTell us where she is.â
Out of nowhere, omega comes crashing down on top of them with the vent. You gasp, running to the ray shield in horror.
âHit the switch omega!â Hunter directs.
âShe nods and dashes for the console, pulling the lever. However, as she does, a trooper grabs her from behind.
âHey redâ
Wrecker punches the trooper in the helmet, causing it to crack and the trooper to fall unconscious.
You hurry to omega, checking her over for injury.
âAre you alright?â
âHa! Not bad!â Wrecker grins at omega.
âWe need to find where they took Crosshair.â
âLetâs move.â Hunter orders, leading you out the door.
You all slowly make your way through the halls of kamino, coming to a stop at a corner as Hunter holds his fist up.
Tech sighs, âweâre not going to get very far without our gear.â
âThey started moving all your things to the hanger.â Omega recalls, âyour gear must be there too.â
You nod in agreement, remembering the troopers that took you and omega talking about the hanger bay.
You all make it to the hanger and the boys start opening crates.
âAll right boys, suit up. Letâs make this quickâ Hunter instructs.
âRight. No. No! Where is it? Where is it? Itâs got to be here somewhere.â Wrecker groans, searching through each crate.
âTech, power up the ship and take the girls with you. The rest of us will go after Crosshairâ Hunter orders.
You exchange a glance with omega before she frowns, âI donât think weâll have to go far.â
You glance up as the blast doors open, revealing a group of troopers. And in the middle, stood Crosshair in dark armour. No longer adorning the personalised paint and symbols. Sniper rifle in hand, he walks further into the hanger.
âIs thatâŠâ wrecker trails off slightly. âCrosshair?â
Hunter walks out to face Crosshair whilst you place a hand on omegas shoulder, slightly positioning her behind you.
âBest stand down sergeantâ Crosshair warns. âMake it easy on yourself.â
âHave you lost your mind?!â Hunter exclaims.
âWe shouldâve killed that Jedi. You disobeyed ordersâ Crosshair snaps.
âI did what I thought was rightâ Hunter retorts.
Crosshair shakes his head.
âYou never could see the bigger picture. Now surrender.â
Hunter spares a glance at the batch and omega, his gaze lingering on you before turning back to Crosshair.
âIs that an order?â
âHeh, I guess it isâ Crosshair scoffs.
âWell, I guess Iâm disobeying that one, too.â
The two continue their glaring match, watching each other for the next move. The thunder of kamino rumbled in the distance, causing your stomach to churn. Then, Crosshair takes the first shot. Hunter ducks, barely missing it before crouching next to where you pulled omega behind a crate. The batch start shooting. A clone trooper throws a smoke bomb, restricting your vision and you squeeze omegas shoulder to make sure sheâs there.
âTech, weâve got to move, now!â Hunter shouts into the comms the batch had.
âIâm working on itâ tech replies.
âWrecker, clear the smoke on threeâ
âYou got it bossâ wrecker nods.
âOmega, you two stay low.â Hunter nods at you and omega. âOneâŠtwoâŠâ
âThree!â Wrecker booms before moving and clearing the smoke with two crate lids. Then, throwing them and hitting a few troopers before reaching for his blaster on his back. But he was too late, a blaster shot hits him, the blaster shot coming from Crosshair.
âWrecker!â Omega cries out as he falls to the floor with a groan. She pulls from your grip and runs to help him.
âOmega donât!â Hunter shouts as you both pull her back behind cover, causing crosshairs shot to miss her.
âBut he needs help!â
âTech weâre out of time!â
âAlmost got it!â Tech reassures.
The alarms in the hanger start blaring and the bay doors start to close. You look around frantically, trying to gauge whatâs happening.
Hunter turns to you both, âwhen I say âgoâ, you head for that ramp and you donât stop. Got it?â
You hesitate before nodding, omega doing the same.
âEcho, we go for wrecker!â Hunter orders.
âGo!â He shouts and you grab omega, running for the ramp.
Crosshair aims his blaster, having a clear shot and you stop, grabbing a nearby blaster but before you can do anything a shot knocks the rifle out of his hands and you turn to look at omega, her seeming to have the same idea as you.
You nod at her before releasing a few warning shots at Crosshair. You drop the blaster, helping Hunter and echo carry wrecker onto the ship. Making sure youâre all on board, tech takes off and flies into the stormy sky of kamino.
You let out a sigh of relief, slumping against the wall as you catch your breath.
âOuch! Hey! Hey, hey, hey. Whatâs that going to do?â Wrecker cries as echo Jabs him with a needle.
âYouâll be okayâ echo replies as he rifles through the medkit. âJust hold still.â
Omega walks over, holding up a tooka plushie. âIs this what you were looking for?â
Wrecker gasps in delight, grabbing the plushie.
âYou found my Lula!â
With the distraction, echo jabs him again causing him to yelp.
Omega giggles and you let a tiny smile take over at her sound.
âLetâs see here, hold stillâ tech approaches wrecker with a datapad.
âDonât examine me, Iâm not a computerâ wrecker fusses.
âThis will just take a second.â
âGet that thing away from me.â
You notice omega walking to the cockpit and follow, looking out the window at the view of the stars whizzing past. It was mesmerising.
âYour first time in space?â Hunter asks you both.
âFirst time anywhereâ omega replies, not removing her eyes from the view.
âImpressive shot back there,â Hunter says, âwhereâd you learn to do all that?â
âI donât know. I never fired a blaster before. I guess I just got lucky.â
âSheâs not the only oneâ tech interjects, walking past to the pilots chair.
âIâm fine! Itâll take more than a blaster shot to take me down.â Wrecker announces.
âYou were down.â Echo argues.
âYeah, well, not for longâ wrecker laughs, pulling echo into a side hug before groaning in pain.
âWhatâs the plan Hunter?â Tech asks.
âI thought we could go off on our own, lay low. But with Crosshair gunning for us, Iâm not so sure.â Hunter explains.
You frown and go to speak but omega beats you to it.
âWhat about your friends? Could any of them help us?â
âThat would be a short list.â Tech informs.
You frown. âNot a single one could help?â
âI can think of one. Plot a course for J-19.â
âJ-19?â Echo questions.
âWe know a guy.â
Wrecker laughs, âyeah!â
âStrap in kid, and lady, youâre not going to want to miss this view.â
They all get positioned as the ship lurches forward and a the stars blur into a beautiful blue swirl. You glance at omega, her little smile warming your heart. You pat her head, not sure what was coming next but prepared to face it, for her.
