Another conversation that just blew my mind a little bit. Hurts my head 😐
Me: "It varies from person to person because while some people are kinky nymphomaniacs there are also asexuals who primarily enjoy cuddling."
Him: "Everyone wants sex. Once a kid hits puberty, guy or girl, that's all they want and all they think about."
Me: "Seriously? No, it's not. There are 8 billion people on the planet and so many different preferences that they may as well write a book for them all just to keep the definitions straight."
Him: "No, that's not how it works. I thought you were smarter than this? Everyone wants sex. I don't believe you're asexual. You probably got molested bad as a child and you're just hiding behind that 'preference'. Of course you want sex, everyone does."
Me: "That's not how it works. That's not how anything works. My preference stems from me not feeling any kind of sexual desires. It didn't come about from a childhood trauma even if some people do have that happen-"
Him: "See, it's a thing. It's just the way people are. Girls gonna see a nice dick and they'll want it. Guys gonna see a hot chick and they want it. Can't help themselves."
Me: "That is not accurate. At all. I can't talk to you if you won't even listen to what I have to say."
Him: "You're just mad that I'm right."
Me: "I'm not mad. I'm disappointed. Because you wont look and see that that's not the way things are. Your world view is so narrow that I'm surprised you don't run into the door frame when you walk around."
